About the Owner

I’m Rebecca, the founder of Helpers — a service built around understanding what people truly need. I support older adults who want to stay independent, individuals who feel lonely or isolated, and busy people juggling too much at once. With a calm, patient approach, I offer gentle housekeeping, errands, paperwork help, home organisation, and companion visits.

Helpers grew out of something very personal. When my Granny came out of hospital, she needed someone to pop in each morning, make her a cup of tea, and sit with her so she didn’t feel alone. I lived too far away to help, and my mum struggled to find anyone who would come in just for those small but important moments. Seeing how difficult it was to get simple, compassionate support made me realise how many families face the same problem. Helpers was created to fill that gap by offering gentle, everyday help when people need it most.

I’m someone who:

  • Works with patience, clarity, and kindness

  • Makes people feel safe, supported, and not judged

  • Helps older adults with dignity and respect

  • Keeps things simple, organised, and manageable

  • Shows up reliably, without fuss or drama

  • Understands how small tasks can make a big difference
